Stealing Share is an American branding company founded by brand strategist Tom Dougherty in 2001. Its brand consultants have been sources in mainstream media, including The New York Times and CNN. It has also been a critic of branding for quick service restaurants, commenting on Bojangles, Domino's and developing the brand pillars for Biscuitville as well being critical of the airline industry. Its strategists have also been speakers on new areas of branding, such as for universities. Headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina with offices in New York City, New York, it has worked with rebranding in the medical industry, including St. Jude Medical, Integra LifeSciences, Medtronic and medical malpractice insurer ProAssurance. It has worked for brands in just about every industry such as banking (First Financial Bank (Ohio)), beer (New Belgium Brewing Company) and services (Time Warner Cable). It has been noted for its research approach, which claims to uncover precepts, belief systems that drive behavior, a process the company called brand anthropology. ==References==
